Passenger Service

Overview:

To provide passenger services operations by providing professional customer services to passengers, facilitate the departure and arrival processes to maintain a secured, punctual and safe operations on behalf of customer airlines

Position Objective:

The Baggage Handler/Porter position is responsible for transporting/running bags from the tarmac to baggage claim promptly and safely.

Primary Duties:

  • Providing passenger services at check-in counter, flight information desk, arrival / transit hall and boarding gate
  • Conducting travel document checking, seat assignment, data entry, queue management and excess baggage collection

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in English
  • Able to stay overtime to get the work done in timely prompt manner
  • Good customer service skill
  • Good telephone etiquette
  • Must be able to stand 4 to 6 hours daily
  • Ability to push a passenger up/down a 6º slope
  • Ability to lift a 350 lb passenger to and from a seat
  • Knowledge of TSA security screening procedures for persons who are non-ambulatory
  • Knowledge of Immigration and Customs procedures a plus
  • Must pass an extensive background check
  • Must be able to legally work in the U.S.A.
